Coming soon to Cocoa Beach
First up... and already in progress. Destination Downtown . This is the site of the aging Yen Yen restaurant at Minuteman Causeway and A1A North - 100 yards from the famous Coconuts on the Beach restaurant. It will be a food hall with independent vendors who will be trying to make a name for themselves and testing a variety of concepts. This is across the street from our new Surf #204. (Please note: the photo below is an artist's rendition of the concept scheduled to open in the Spring/Summer 2025.)
Next up... Across from Sandcastles (on an empty lot just north of Denny's) and just a 1/3 of a mile north of Spanish Main, a food hall and brewery. This is being spearheaded by the founder of the 4th Street Fillin Station - which you probably enjoyed while visiting one of our condos. They plan on breaking ground later this year. There is talk that food hall will be a similar concept to the above, Destination Downtown. They are also planning on having a 2,300 square-foot private event space, an 8,000-square-foot covered courtyard for live music and other entertainment, and a 3,300 square-foot rooftop bar. (Please note: the photo below is an artist's rendition of the concept scheduled to open in the Fall of 2025.)
Lastly... and this might look familiar if you have been on our website recently, is The Surf. This is where our most recent monthly vacation rental is located. Unit #204 will be on the same level as the pool and hot tub (the green bulbous extrusion - gym, clubhouse, fire pit, etc... However, as it relates to restaurants it is rumored that a high end "surf and turf" restaurant/lounge is going in on the ground floor. Again, rumors indicate that the restaurant will be a collaboration between the owners/chef's at Jazzy's Mainly Lobster and the Tiny Turtle (Caribbean fusion), which both serve up their delights in downtown Cocoa Beach. (Please note: the photo below of the restaurant under The Surf Condos is an artist rendition scheduled to open in 2024)
