Getting here from Orlando International Airport
Car vs No-Car
- Once at Spanish Main (Location of our condo') you really don't need a car.
- (That is, if you really like walking and and don't expect to range too far.)
- However, most people will feel most comfortable wiwth a car
- There is a decent amount of parking
- Driving to and from the Airport is pretty easy (not a lot of traffic)
- Also, driving around town is not too crowded - though peak times can get busy.
Tips for renting cars:
- During peak times, the lines at the car rental desks at the airport can be LONG.
- Therefore, if time is important to you, it may be best to become a member of a car rental agency.
- You can then bypass the lines and go straight to your rental car location in the parking garage at the airport.
- It is free to join these programs.
- The only downside is that the rates may not be as low as you could get on Priceline.
Tips for using UBER: (If you decide Uber is best for getting to or from the beach to the airport)
- Uber is great for getting around Cocoa Beach
- Uber Is about $85 to / from the condo in Cocoa Beach.
- Other drivers we have experience with charge around $65 each way to Orlando International
- You can arrange rides by contacting them in advance
- Cheryl Burger (has a minivan) can be reached at 321-537-6565 or [email protected]
- Norman (drivers a smaller sedan) can be reached at 727-282-0628 or [email protected]

- Turtles are big deal down here.
- If you are visiting between March 1 and October 31 - things will be a little dark at night. In fact, you will have to draw the blinds in MASTER and LIVING room so the mama turtles and the baby turtles don't get lured to our lights - rather than the moon reflecting off of the ocean.
- FINES: If the above rules are not followed our Association could be penalized with some stiff fines.
Emergency Maintenance:
- If anything is not quite right, including something electrical or mechanical, please contact Vicki right away.
